Central PA Festival of the Arts Children and Youth Day

Founded by the State College Chamber of Commerce and Penn State’s College of Arts and Architecture, the Central PA Festival of the Arts attracts about 125,000 visitors each summer. Each year, Children and Youth Day kicks off the beginning of the festival. At the Central PA Festival of the Arts Children and Youth Day, artists from the ages of 8-18 set up in Downtown State College to sell their own, original work at the Youth Sidewalk Sale! There are plenty of activities that the young (or young at heart) can take part in throughout the day.
