Experience the cool vibe of downtown State College during our monthly First Friday events.  A casual atmosphere features art, people-watching, mingling with friends, shopping, and dining at the diverse and delectable State College restaurants.  First Friday goers will experience after-hours access to galleries and shops, free bites and beverages, live music and entertainment, retail and restaurant specials, and more. Woskob Family Gallery

Join the Woskob Family Gallery for a workshop in making your own mini-zine during Downtown State College’s September First Friday!

Breanne Trammell | Pocket Poetry Mobile Zine Library

Gallery staff will lead participants of all ages in creating their own mini-zine using the contents of their own pockets. Drop-ins welcome throughout the evening and no experience necessary!

The Pocket Poetry Mobile Zine Library (PPMZL) is a project of artist Breanne Trammell, whose work appears in the Summer Reading exhibition. Participants will create an eight-page zine from a single sheet of paper, using the contents of their own pockets as subject matter and the artist’s portable copy machine as a tool. Participants will receive two copies of their zine to take home, one goes to the cart library, one to Trammell’s teaching collection, and one to a local special collections archive (if applicable).
