Farrah graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BFA in painting, photography, and graphic design. He is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, the National Acrylic Painters Association, and the Arizona Watercolor Association.
