September 27, 2018 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
| FreeThe United States is called a Nation of Immigrants, but the contributions of immigrants are largely unknown. This workshop is presented by Dr. Nalini Krishnankutty who is a first-generation immigrant American and PSU alum, and discusses the complex history of U.S. immigration, and the profound contributions of individual immigrants.
A chemical engineer turned writer, researcher, and speaker, Nalini is actively countering anti-immigrant sentiment in the country by presenting workshops on the history of immigration and the contributions of immigrants.
