Join us for a workshop in making your own mini-zine during Downtown State College’s September First Friday!
Breanne Trammell | Pocket Poetry Mobile Zine Library
Gallery staff will lead participants of all ages in creating their own mini-zine using the contents of their own pockets. Drop-ins welcome throughout the evening and no experience necessary!
The Pocket Poetry Mobile Zine Library (PPMZL) is a project of artist Breanne Trammell, whose work appears in the Summer Reading exhibition. Participants will create an eight-page zine from a single sheet of paper, using the contents of their own pockets as subject matter and the artist’s portable copy machine as a tool. Participants will receive two copies of their zine to take home, one goes to the cart library, one to Trammell’s teaching collection, and one to a local special collections archive (if applicable).
September First Friday: September 7, 2018 | 5:00 – 8:00 PM
