Downtown State College:
What's YOUR State Of Mind?
Though we bleed Blue and White for our Nittany Lions, Downtown State College is much more than a college town.
In one sense, it’s a neighborhood - with diverse, civic-minded residents and a wide, deep variety of businesses (both established and new) that make it a point to know you by name and offer a glad hand in greeting.
In another sense, it’s a city - with a cosmopolitan nightlife, unique shopping, and an eclectic selection of restaurants, theaters and hotels sure to satisfy virtually any taste or mood.
In every sense, Downtown State College offers a wholesome mix of youthful
energy and established calm. We’re equally comfortable hosting an
international business expo as we are
playing host to the Central Pennsylvania Festival of
the Arts every summer. In other words, we do “big city” and “small town” equally well!
For business, pleasure, shopping, dining, living - and just about any other “ing” you can think of - Downtown State College is the place to be.
