State College Parking Particulars
Downtown State College parking lots are located in the 100 block of South Fraser Street, the 100 block of South Pugh street, the100 block of McAllister Street and in the 200 block of West Beaver Avenue - with monthly leases available. Contact the Borough of State College Parking Office at (814) 278.4769 for details - or download the official parking guide here.
Metered parking and metered parking lots are available throughout State College borough - and street parking is free after 6 p.m. What’s more, all metered lots and street parking are free on Thursdays after 6 p.m., and parking on Sundays is free everywhere, including garages, from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m.! Want to take the hassle out of paying? EZ cards can be pre-loaded with cash to skip the stop at the pay station in each of the Dowtown State College parking garages. Cards are available at the Borough of State College Parking Office, located at 243 South Allen Street.
And don’t forget - dozens and dozens of merchants in State College borough offer validation parking tickets good for up to three hours of parking at any of the downtown parking lots with qualified purchase. Just look for the Merchant Validated Parking (MVP) logo at participating businesses!
