| Bringing the finest in professional performing arts to Central Pennsylvania since 1985, the Center presents the best in music, dance, theatre, and family programming. Our seasons include everything from classical music and opera, to jazz and world music; Broadway musicals to drama; traditional ballet to modern dance; children's stories to all-age family shows; and rising newcomers to established popular entertainers. In addition to the performances that we present there are educational activities designed to inform the community about different artists and art forms.
Ever-changing and growing, the Center for the Performing Arts stands as one of Pennsylvania's major cultural resources and continues to be nationally recognized as a major commissioner of new works.
