Not just a coffee spot, the cafe remains open until 6 pm, so you can run on over for an early dinner anyone would enjoy.

A favorite go-to is Saint’s Café which you may find packed with people studying for exams or getting work done. Besides their delicious cakes and pastries, which will be hard to avoid when you walk in and smell them being freshly made, there are both hot and iced organic matcha, teas, and quiches. Not to mention, the cozy ambiance of this place will make you want to sit and linger!

Home to the create-your-own stir fry dish is Green Bowl. When you walk in you are able to pick your choices of fresh vegetables, meats, and sauces to put in your bowl and create delicious, one of a kind meals. In the mornings they feature an omelet bar and oatmeal options for breakfast, making this an all-day hot spot!

Craving a fresh salad with amazing menu items and the option to make your own bowl? Head over to either Fiddlehead or Roots. Both of these spots also feature delicious grain bowls to take your salads to the next level and make them more hearty and filling!

Looking for fresh fruit bowls and smoothies? Then Frutta Bowls or Salud Juicery are the places for you! Frutta Bowls also provides a variety of healthy toasts with bases of avocado, Nutella, hummus, or brie! And Salud is home to countless juices and detox-shots to help cleanse your body before your big trip.

Fitness:

Once you start eating right, working out and doing things for your body will be the next step in looking and feeling refreshed and energized before your vacation! Whether you prefer dance, yoga, Tae Kwon Do, or cross-fit training, we have many options to appeal to all.

To use dance as your form of exercise we have the Central PA Dance Workshop where you can take part in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, and flamenco for all levels of experienced dancers or the Movement Arts Studio where they hold classes for belly dancing, clogging, and Pilates, also welcoming different experience levels.

Yoga is also a great way to gain strength in both the mind and body, while also connecting with your surroundings. Here in State College, some places to head and enrich yourself in the practice of yoga are Lila Yoga and Yoga Lab. Whether you’re a beginner looking to get into the practice of yoga, or a yogi with years or experience, there are some great places to go and enhance your skills.

Chaar Tae Kwon Do is a great place to go both alone or with the family, offering classes for adults, children, and a hybrid of the two as a great family bonding experience.

Lastly, F45 State College is your new go-to for high-intensity interval training, circuit training, and functional training. Make sure you check out what classes they feature that day before heading over!
