See the students of the Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop (CPDW) in “There’s a Holiday for That” at 7:30 PM Saturday, December 8th, at the State Theatre in downtown State College. Join us as we explore obscure and unusual holidays. Selections include a variety of ages and dance styles celebrating lesser known, strange, bizarre, wacky, or absurd holidays from Umbrella Day to Lollipop Day, Saxophone Day to International Peace Day, Alfred Hitchcock Day to Rubber Ducky Day, Chic Spy Day to Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day. There is sure to be much to entertain everyone. Children from the creative movement, preballet, ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, lyrical, and musical theatre dance classes will participate, along with adult ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and hip hop classes. The production will be choreographed by the CPDW faculty, including Jill A. Brighton, Director, Christina Ford, Erin Hanses, Ruth Packard, Karen Stoner, and Cait Truax.
