First Friday: Images 2019 Opening Reception

The Expect More Store presents an opening reception for Images 2019, the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts’ juried exhibition, during First Friday! Stop by to view a variety of artwork— drawings, paintings, mixed media, photography, hand-pulled prints, watercolors, fiber, paper, and digital art—from Pennsylvania artists and enjoy cheeses, wine, and beer.

The sixty works accepted into the Images 2019 exhibition were chosen by juror Dr. Shannon Egan from 334 entered pieces. Dr. Egan is Director of the Schmucker Art Gallery at Gettysburg College and has been curating exhibitions of contemporary and historical art since 2007. She also teaches courses at Gettysburg College on contemporary art, the history and theory of photography, and art and public policy. Dr. Egan received her M.A. and Ph.D. in the History of Art from Johns Hopkins University and her undergraduate degree in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
