Geology of Central Pennsylvania

With the support of the Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium, join us as Joanmarie shares tales of when Pennsylvania had mountains as high as the Himalaya, or as frozen as the Arctic – and what it means for your favorite outdoor adventure spots. The story behind the waterfalls, boulder fields and streams we know and love are millions of years in the making, and geologists are always working to tell new, exciting stories of Earth’s history from the rocks and landscapes we see today. This is a Free U event, so the knowledge and refreshments are on the house. All are welcome, so bring a friend!
