If you’re a fan of 90’s Country Music, don’t miss a rare appearance by Joe Diffie in Happy Valley.  If you’re a “Pickup Man” (or gal), you’ll want to rock out with Joe and his band for a Friday night of country music fun!

With chart-toppers like “Pickup Man,” “Third Rock From the Sun,” and “John Deere Green,” and 13 albums and over 20 Top 10 singles to his credit, Joe will bring a slew of unforgettable hits to his performance in The State Theatre.

With the release of Jason Aldean’s hit “1994″ that name-checked many of Joe Diffie’s twelve Number One hits, the legendary singer found himself squarely back in the hearts and minds of country fans. The multi-platinum-selling artist dominated the charts during a hot streak in the ‘90’s, including “Bigger than the Beatles” and “Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die)”.

A renowned songwriter in his own right who recently turned his focus back to writing after years on the road, Joe has hits for artists like Tim McGraw, Conway Twitty, and Jo Dee Messina to his credit. His collaboration, “Girl Ridin’ Shotgun”, with the Jawga Boyz has amassed over 12 million views on YouTube.

Joe Diffie is a Grammy and ACM award winner and has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry for over 20 years.

Opening act, The Chris Ruble Band, hails from Central Pennsylvania.  Chris, a native of Reedsville, PA,  has stood in the winner’s circle of over 30 competitions along the eastern seaboard, and has taken the stage in hundreds of venues, helping him mold his brand of country.
