Come to the children’s department of the Schlow Centre Region Library and listen to the story of the Polar Express! Then, take a ride around the block on a trolley to Santa’s winter wonderland. During the ride, children will be given a velveteen pouch with a bell inside, and a coin to spend at Santa’s Workshop. Upon arriving at Santa’s Workshop (The State College Borough Municipal Building), children can get a photo taken with Mr. Claus, and will be given a print. There is also a card creation station where children can use their photo with Santa to create a decorative card for someone special.

The event starts at the Library and and finishes next door at Santa’s workshop on the second floor of the State College Borough Municipal Building.

On Saturdays, December 1 & 8, the first reading is at 11 a.m. and the last reading will be at 3 p.m. For Sunday, December 2 & 9, the first reading is at 2 p.m. and the last reading will be at 4:20 p.m.

Registration is required for this FREE event. All pre-registration spots have been filled, but walk-in registration will also be available the day of the event. You can also find this event on the Schlow Centre Region Library website.
