Angels Everywhere

Amy Frank is an emerging local Downtown State College artist specializing in mixed media collage. We currently have multiple pieces from her collection displayed in our office.

Amy’s portraits and landscapes are often created using materials from the people and places she paints. Her collections are shown in several local and regional galleries near her home in Central Pennsylvania.

When Amy is not too busy creating, she is busy running her non-profit organization, The Makery.

The Makery is an inspired art and craft studio specializing in creative classes, parties, and events. The Makery has received several local and regional awards including Best Community Space and Best Place for After School Activities from State College Magazine and Community Impact Business of the Year from the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County. You can learn more at themakerypa.com.

Amy lives in State College with a patient husband, 4 crazy kids and 2 golden doodles.

Additionally, Amy currently has an exhibition located on the first floor of the Siege Gallery at the Bellefonte Art Museum. The exhibition is featured every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-4:30pm, until December 27. The collection, named Lightbringers uses ephemera from the lives of heroic historical figures: their writings, their work, the details of their daily lives. These materials bring a meaningful energy and nuanced depth to the work.

All of Amy’s pieces are available to purchase upon request, so please stop by and look!
