The Downtown State College Improvement District features the work of local artist Melinda Curley

Join us in celebrating the work of local artist Melinda Curley on display in our office at 127 S Fraser Street throughout February and March.

First Friday Opening Reception on February 7th from 5-8 pm…light refreshments and parking validations will be provided!

Melinda’s artwork is found in corporate collections in Texas and New Jersey, in addition to personal collections in Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Delaware, Ohio, Florida, Texas and Washington DC.

Her artwork has been featured in solo exhibits at Old Main Frame Shop & Gallery in State College, The Bellefonte Art Museum of Centre County and Zola Kitchen & Wine Bar of State College. Her paintings have been accepted into juried art shows at The Center for Contemporary Political Art in Washington DC, The Art Association of Harrisburg, PA and numerous juried shows in the State College area. She was also a featured artist at a San Francisco art conference.

Melinda holds a Bachelor of Arts in general arts and sciences from The Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Business Administration, also from Penn State, and a Master of Fine Arts in poetry from New England College. She is a Usui Reiki Master, Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher, studied Energy Medicine with Donna Eden and studied the Reconnection energy program with Eric Pearl.
