The Society for Indian Music and Arts, and Nritya are proud to present Dhrupad Samaroh, a three day series of performances featuring Dhrupad, India’s oldest existing form of classical music. Performances at Dhrupad Samaroh showcase the talents of highly acclaimed artists from India, as well as those who live and practice their art in the United States. Another unusual feature of the series is that the musicians come from a variety of schools of dhrupad, representing a rich cross-section of styles very seldom heard anywhere in the world.
