Free U ~ The Roots of Exploration in the UK

Tracing the roots of exploration in the UK back to Antarctica Pete will illustrate the growth of youth
development expeditions to wilderness areas around the world. With anecdotes and images from
Greenland, the Himalaya, the Middle East and Africa the personal growth associated with
expeditions and current issues will be explored.
Pete is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, Explorers Club of New York, Young Explorers Trust
and the British Exploring Society. His research is focused on values and experiential learning.
